保存條件 Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

產(chǎn)品介紹 This gene encodes an epididymal protease inhibitor, which contains both kunitz-type and WAP-type four-disulfide core （WFDC） protease inhibitor consensus sequences. Most WFDC genes are localized to chromosome 20q12-q13 in two clusters: centromeric and omeric. This gene is a member of the WFDC gene family and belongs to the omeric cluster. The protein can inhibit human sperm motility, and polymorphisms in this gene are associated with male infertility. Read-through transcription also exists between this gene and the downstream WFDC6 （WAP four-disulfide core domain 6） gene. [provided by RefSeq].
Function : Serine protease inhibitor that plays an essential role in male reproduction and fertility. Modulates the hydrolysis of SEMG1 by KLK3/PSA （a serine protease）, provides antimicrobial protection for spermatozoa in the ejaculate coagulum, and binds SEMG1 thereby inhibiting sperm motility （By similarity）.
Subunit : Monomer （By similarity）. Homodimer （By similarity）. Homomultimers （By similarity）. Interacts （via C-terminus） with SEMG1 （via 164-283 AA） （By similarity）. Interacts with LTF （By similarity）. Found in a complex with LTF, CLU, EPPIN and SEMG1 （By similarity）.
Subcellular Location : Secreted. Cell surface. Note=Present on the surface of spermatozoa both before and after capacitation.
Tissue Specificity : Expressed in differentiated spermatogonia in testis. Expressed in spermatogonia cell lines GC-1 spg and GC-2spd（ts） as well as in the Leydig tumor cell line MLTC-1 （at protein level）. Expressed specifically in epididymis and testis. Expressed predominantly on the postacrosomal region of mouse spermatozoa, in Sertoli cells, Leydig cells, and round spermatids in the testis, and in the principal cells of the cauda epididymidis epithelium.
Similarity : Contains 1 BPTI/Kunitz inhibitor domain.
Contains 1 WAP domain.
